Loy joined Mike in his insurance and financial services business in January of 1990, working alongside in the Life and Health division. In 1994, Loy and Mike partnered together and Incorporated Stratton Insurance Services, Inc., a full-lines independent insurance agency. In 2013, they joined the ISU cooperative and became ISU Insurance Services – The Stratton Agency. Today, Loy’s focus is on agency management, marketing and accounting.
Prior to the insurance business, Loy owned and operated Michael Angelo’s, an ice cream and yogurt shop in Pendleton, where she employed many of the local youth. She enjoyed teaching them a healthy work ethic.
Loy has been married to her husband, Mike, since 1979. Together, they have four grown children and have been very blessed with 12 grandchildren. Over the years, Loy has enjoyed involvement in her church. She finds the most joy spending time with her grandchildren, children, family and friends.
